The Colby Trail concept draws on recognizable themes of outdoor life that Colby College (Waterville, Maine) students can relate to, such as, but not limited to: discovery/path-finding, adventure, community, goal setting, planning, and reaching key benchmarks in order to have an exciting and fulfilling journey.
Project: Colby Trail – Discover Your Journey
Colby College came to us looking to develop their first year experience concept, brand identity, messaging strategy, collateral design, and for marketing and communication needs. They had challenges coming up with a concept that would unite and excite the incoming class to their first year experience program that had been developed. They needed help with messaging to incorporate a branded experience and we accepted the challenge!

We evaluated their conceptual and organizational challenges they were facing and in an expedited 3 month timeline, worked with key stakeholders in Student Life, Residential Life, and The Pugh Center of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, to develop a concept that would unify all the goals that each unit needed. We worked with them to gain consensus for the concept.
