The Challenge
As Parklife prepared to open a new restaurant space, they needed their digital presence to evolve alongside it. Having previously partnered with Hyphenate, Parklife returned for a website redesign that would reflect their updated branding and renewed energy.
The existing site needed a visual refresh, a new brand color palette derived from their updated logo, and clearer content organization—particularly for their events programming. In addition, the realities of operating during the COVID-19 pandemic introduced an urgent, highly specific challenge: complying with New York City’s contact tracing requirements without disrupting the guest experience.

Our Approach
Hyphenate delivered a full website redesign that brought a lighter, more vibrant aesthetic to Parklife’s online presence—mirroring the atmosphere of their new restaurant space. We developed a refreshed brand palette rooted in their updated logo, introduced new content, and reorganized the events page to improve clarity and usability.
Beyond visual updates, we addressed operational needs with a custom digital solution. To support COVID-19 safety protocols, Hyphenate designed and implemented a mobile-only check-in experience that allowed guests to quickly submit their name and email upon arrival. This streamlined system met NYC contact tracing requirements while remaining intuitive and unobtrusive for patrons.
The result was a modern, flexible website that supported both Parklife’s brand evolution and real-world operational demands—demonstrating how thoughtful digital design can enhance hospitality experiences in changing conditions.
